Lauren and Damian at Boothe Park

Lauren and Damian's engagement session at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford was an incredible amount of fun. The morning light is great at the park-- much better options with the red mini-barn and the willow tree than in the evening. Lauren and Damian were very comfortable with each other and confident-- makes my job a lot easier! I'm looking forward to the wedding coming up in about a month!

Jamie and Kyle

I don't believe I have photographed a wedding with more interesting details than Jamie and Kyle's wedding at The Riverview in Simsbury. The personalized sodas, Jamie's shoes, and Kyle's groom cake were just a few of the many unique elements of the day. When Jamie and Kyle mentioned at the planning meeting that there was a "flower bridge" nearby, I do admit that my heart leapt. (I love unique settings for portraits!) Danya and I were able to capture some fantastic portraits on the bridge. (Overcast can produce nice lighting as long as the light is still directional.) Jamie and Kyle mentioned to me before the wedding that they were looking more for a photojournalistic style of photography than a stand-and-look-at-camera type of wedding. I said, "We're a match!" Spring Wedding at Tashua Knolls
